  • Oversee a variety of landscape construction projects ensuring all works are delivered on time and of the highest standard
  • With assistance from the Project Team, coordinate and manage all facets of the project (people, materials, resources) to meet contractual and technical requirements
  • Lead and mentor the site team
  • Maintain daily communication with Project Team
  • Lead and promote safety, quality and environmental company culture

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience in some or all:
  1. Site set out
  2. Interpreting plans & specifications
  3. Understand hard and soft landscaping works
  4. Plant operation (must be licenced)
  5. Paving or concrete background (highly desired)

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable truck driver with previous experience operating a water cart to work with our horticulture maintenance team. This position involves the scheduled watering of trees using the water cart and is offered on a casual basis where working hours and days will be varied, including night and early morning works.

  • Oversee multiple projects ensuring all works are delivered on time and of the highest standard
  • Coordinate and monitor all facets of the project (staff, sub-contractors, materials, resources)
  • Understanding contracts, managing sub-contractor and supplier agreements
  • Work with the construction budget
  • Continual project status communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and promote safety, quality and environmental company culture
  • Contribute to continual learning and development of the team by providing coaching and mentorship
  • Assist in tender reviews, reports and budgets for senior management and stakeholders

 

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you must have:

  • A professional qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Building or Construction or a trade qualification with extensive knowledge, skills, and project experience
  • Proven experience with successful delivery of civil and/or landscape construction projects
  • Sound professional engineering knowledge to identify and resolve issues
  • Experience with estimating to assist with variations
  • Effective leadership and people management skills
  • Strong numeric, technical, and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, including multitasking against competing priorities
